Arch Hades: Return | Ritorno
7 May – 30 October 2026
Scoletta Battioro e Tiraoro di Venezia, Venice
Supported by Erarta Foundation
Erarta Foundation is excited to announce its first showing for the Venice Biennale period at the Scoletta Battioro e Tiraoro.
Return | Ritorno is a major exhibition of new large-scale works by artist and poet Arch Hades, unfolding across three floors of the historic Scoletta Battioro e Tiraoro on Venice’s Grand Canal.
Bringing together painting, sculpture, and sound, the exhibition creates an immersive environment that explores the human condition through a language of restraint, vulnerability, and introspection. Drawing on Classical, Surrealist, and Romantic traditions, Hades expands her multidisciplinary practice—where poetry, spoken word, and visual art converge into unified, sensory experiences.
At its centre is Return (2025), a monumental 22-panel painting spanning over 13 metres, in which a constellation of life-size figures traces a spectrum of emotional and existential states. Alongside it, sculptural installations and works from the ongoing Confessions series transform intimate fragments of text into enduring material forms, reflecting on memory, exposure, and shared human experience.
With Return | Ritorno, Arch Hades continues to develop a distinctive practice at the intersection of poetry and visual art, inviting audiences into a contemplative space.
